Hello, I'm Talia. Welcome to my blog,
This is a place for me to share my thoughts, passions and photography as I create a life I love in Southern California.
I am 28 years old, I live in Los Angeles and I work full time as a digital marketing manager. I am a marathon runner, former space journalist and a proud mom to an 8 year-old rescue dog named Juno. She’s my best friend.
In January 2017 I left my friends and family in Florida and moved out west to California. I knew that Los Angeles was a mecca for creatives like me. It seemed like the perfect place to gain the experience I craved to help me grow professionally and personally.
I've been living in LA for a year and a half now. I have a wonderful job, a beautiful apartment with two awesome dogs (and a lot of dope plants), and a plethora of exciting adventures to look forward to and look back on. I traveled to Spain by myself in March (my first time out of the country), backpacked over 30 miles in the Grand Canyon in April and completed my 10th full marathon in May (26.2 miles). I'm proud of those accomplishments because I know how hard it was to get there.
One more thing you should know about me is that I’m a photographer. And if this hobby has taught me anything, it’s that we as humans encompass exceptional talents and passions that go unrealized until given the opportunity to try. Sometimes we find that passion but hold back on pursuing it out of fear of not being good enough.
We should all give ourselves the opportunity to try.
So, I'm starting this blog and seeing where it takes me. I hope to give others insight into my life and the stories behind the photos I take. I hope it enables me to connect with like-minded people and inspire others to share their experiences and perspectives on life.
